Thanks to Sandra at Cactus Gallery, these dolls were sold at the Dia de los Muertos show. A bit sad to part with them, but am glad to know they have new homes!

Strangers from a Different Shore Dolls to be published in Winter Art Doll Quarterly

Strangers From A Different Shore (cloth, tin, acrylics), 2009
Exciting news! My piece was accepted into the Winter 2010 issue of Art Doll Quarterly, published by the lovely people at Stampington & Company. I am so grateful to Jana Holstein, Managing Editor, who did a great job and I'm looking forward to seeing the issue at Borders bookstore when it comes out this November! This piece has seemed to resonate with many people--it was also shown in La Luz de Jesus's Everything But the Kitsch 'N Sync group show. Created in a class taught by The Clayton Brothers at Art Center, I am so thankful to them as well for helping to guide me creatively.
